About Us
Salaam Alaikum Ladies!
By the grace of Allah, a few girls in the Markham/Pickering area have joined together to form a weekly support group for women in the area.
The purpose of this group, The 905 Sisterhood, is to provide a forum for sisters in the area to discuss our most blessed religion and to integrate teachings in our everyday lives. We have many issues that we face at work, school and in our personal lives, and everyone can strive to be a better person.
Our aim is to enable personal growth and to embody those qualities and characteristics that are cherished by Allah and the Ahlul Bayt.
The 905 Sisterhood is open for any women in the area from the Shia Ithna’sheri community. For stability in the group, we ask that only those people able to commit to the group join. Anyone interested is invited to come see a session and decide if it is beneficial or not. We are open to teenagers as well as working women!
